MASTERPLAN
The residential building is a three-part spatial structure consisting of: a freestanding tower ("C", 17 levels), a dominant tower ("B", 31 levels) and an adjoining section ("A", 6 levels). All volumes are united by a 1-level underground car park. The placement of the tall tower on Lenin Street is conditioned by the desire to create a new dominant feature in the silhouette of the city, to form flats with panoramic views of the city, as well as to fulfil the conditions to ensure the required technical and economic indicators. The dominant tower is divided into two segments with the upper part offset to visually reduce the height of the tower. The adjoining section is aligned with the height of the neighbouring building and is parallel to Lenin Street which allows to create an enclosed and private courtyard space, as well as a separation from the road. The offset adjacency allows for the creation of a small public space along Lenin Street with access to commercial functions on the ground floors.
ARCHITECTURE
Identification of the volumes is achieved through the variety of plasticity of the facade solutions. At the same time, different volumes are perceived as one due to the selected facade material. The facade plasticity of section "A" is a response to the surrounding development of the site, while the tall towers "B" and "C" represent the contrast between the vertical dynamics of the urban dominants and the horizontal statics of the silhouette of the city.
