Specialized: Aethos (Booklet)
The AETHOS was built In Pursuit of the Perfect Ride. With a desire to explore possibilities still unknown, Specialized asked Japanese artist Kosuke Masuda to create a work that explores the depths of cycling inspiration that brought to life the Aethos. Specialized took their unique Jet Fuel frame as a blank canvas and commissioned emerging Japanese artist Kosuke Masuda, who is also an authentic rider from Yokohama and a Buddhist monk. Drawing inspiration from his daily lifestyle, he drew and carved the frame and other parts, while the whole process is documented by his wife, Kei Hompo.
