With the rise of tuition fees and the design industry becoming more and more competitive in
the UK, hundreds of thousands of young talented people are becoming jobless. Some do not
have degree qualifications or any form of training or guidance to help them hone upon
their skills.
Many charities and organisations have been put in place but the situation is still at hand. This publication has been produced to address this problem with a number of case studies including a young offender and university drop out. What is the government and society doing to help young creatives gain employment in the design industry if they have little or
no qualifications?
