I made this Visual during my internship at @rocket_and_wink, with the help of @mmmaurice_rieger, for the Benin exhibition. In this exhibition, the artworks looted by the colonial masters can be admired one last time before they are returned to Benin.
The tearing symbolises the theft of the artworks, while the reassembling represents the attempt to apologise through the exhibition and the return of the artworks to Benin. However, the cracks will always remain.
