THE BRIEF
To capture the celebratory Anniversary event series in an unprecedented way that communicated the milestone of this 10 year partnership with Gourmet Traveller. It needed to be special, fun and above all, spectacular!
With a double gatefold execution off the front cover of Gourmet Traveller Magazine, I was tasked with capturing 10 of Australia's top chefs separately and having them comped together into one epic party scene for the inside image announcing the lineup for the year long event series. We also needed to capture individual classic portraits for the rest of the campaign creative.

THE RESULT
For this I lead the team and pulled together a group of the best creatives in the business to deliver something the client had never seen before and has been trying to replicate each year since.
The hero group shot required 5 separate shoots in two states, serious project management to manage chef availability, capture their unique personalities as well as trying to maintain realistic lighting effects from shoot through to the post-production work. This shoot demanded extensive skill in creative direction, managing numerous high-profile stakeholders including live chickens, the key advertising account for Bauer Media, 10 celebrity chefs and an esteemed editorial team.
