Viber is a music-based app where the main goal is to bring people together through the love of music. I started off by thinking where would this app be most effective (where are people most likely to listen to music?) I used myself and peers as reference and analysed when everyone uses their phone for music. The answer I soon discovered was while travelling whether by car, train or walking its usually when we’re on the move. 

 

I wanted to create an experience that would or could bring people together through the common interest of music, but keep it fairly local to the user. This would work in a way that if a person was sitting on the same train, bus or in even a café they have the ability to strike up a conversation with each other.

 

The apps main use is to share and listen to music in a convenient way, the easy search system and settings can allow you to find people close that are interested in the same genres of music.
