이 포스터는 폴텍이 자신의 강의 노트를 주제로 강연을 한다는 가정 하에 그 내용을 담은 포스터이다. 폴텍은 20세기에 활동했던 미국인 예술가로, 조각과 설치미술로 유명했다. 교수로도 활동했던 그는 학생들이 작업을 하기 위해 자아성찰을 하기 원했다.

 그래서 만든 것이 백 가지가 넘는 질문으로 이루어진 강의 노트인데, 이름과 취미를 묻는 간단한 질문에서부터 종교 및 철학적 질문과 같은 복잡한 것들로 이루어져있다. 학생들은 질문들에 대한 답을 하면서 점차 내면을 관찰하게 되는 과정을 거친다. 하지만 이 질문들은 아무런 규칙성 없는 순서대로 있기 때문에 질문자의 의도를 파악하기가 힘든 점이 있다. 
 나는 답변하게 될 이들의 이해를 돕기 위해 디자인의 제작 과정에서 생각하게 될 질문들의 순서로 다시 그룹지었다. (이 기준은 내가 결정한 것이다.) 그리고 이 제작 과정을 시각화하기 위해서 포도주가 제조되는 과정을 차용했데, 디자인이 탄생하는 과정이 마치 포도주가 제조되는 과정과 비슷하다고 생각했기 때문이다. 과정은 총 7개로 나뉘어져있고 각 과정은 포도주가 제조되는 공정들과 짝지어져 있다. 공정의 순서대로 포스터를 보는 이의 시선을 유도하기 위해 공정에 따라 보라색이 점점 짙어지게 하고, Paul Thek의 각 글자에 포도주가 차오르도록 표현하였다.
 포스터의 뒷면은 7개의 과정 속에 있는 폴텍의 질문들이 수록되어있다. 또한 과정의 구체적인 설명을 위해 일러스트를 삽입하였다. 컷팅선과 접는 선을 삽입해 폴텍의 강연을 들으면서 읽을 수 있는 리플렛이 될 수 있도록 디자인하였다. 

This poster is under an assumption that Paul Thek would give a lecture with his teaching note. Paul Theck is an American artist in 20C and was famous for his sculptures and installation. He, also working as a professor, suggested his students to take some time for introspection to creat.
 The teaching note which consists over 100 questions is what is made for this. It includes from simple questions; name and hobby, to complicated ones; religious and philosophical questions. Students have a process to observe their inner side answering the questions. But, because these questions list without any order, it's hard to understand questioner's intend.
 So, I group them in the order of thinking when I creat a design, to help answerers to understand. (At this time, I made this criterion.) And I compare the process of design to that of brewing to visualize it because I thought they are alike. The design process is divided in 7 parts and each is matched with a part of brewing. To induce receivers tracing the flow , I made puple go darker and filled the letters, 'PAUL THEK' with wine in the order of flow.
 On the opposite side, questions of Paul Thek are listed in 7 parts. I also inserted illustrations for specific explanations. And I added cut and fold lines to make a booklet which audiences can read with.
