Every structure was assembled with 100% organic materials, avoiding the use of heavy machinery that would generate pollution, and were built around the design that nature had already made, preserving the ecosystem. And to avoid the production of greenhouse gases, the island implemented a solar energy system to power it. All of this has made Corona Island the first island in the world to be certified as free of single-use plastics.
