This is the artwork I designed in 2021: the cover for the EP "R18" by the Band “Haktou”.
In 2021,Haktou made a long-awaited return with new music. This time, I also took charge of the visual aspect of the new single.
The theme of this EP is growth. In fact, counting from the time we finished recording the instruments, it has been almost four years.
Regarding the visual representation, I chose the Viking helmet that I loved from my childhood to symbolize the fearlessness and bravery of youth. As we grew older, these brave qualities seemed to be sealed away and discarded, gradually forgotten.
Similar to how "R18" indicates that those under eighteen are prohibited, there are also precious things that are prohibited beyond the age of eighteen. This is the meaning we wanted to convey with this "R18".
