Diseñar el afiche para la película Yana-Wara fue todo un reto, ya que el concepto y la estética no era lo usual, no buscaban un afiche comercial si no al contrario una pieza de cine arte, pensada más para festivales que para salas de cine.
En los procesos de creación una parte importante es conversar y conocer las motivaciones, que los inspiró y claro, ver el producto o capturas para entender la estética.
Los directores de la película son #TitoCatacora y #OscarCatacora con ellos ya había trabajado en la película #Wiñaypacha galordanada internacionalmente y se encuentra disponible en la plataforma de #Netflix.
La invitación es que vayan a ver la película en @festivaldecinedelima y me cuenten qué les pareció.
Yana-Wara es la obra póstuma del director #OscarCatacora quien lamentable falleció durante el rodaje de la película. Todo mi respeto y admiración por su trabajo.

Designing the poster for the film Yana-Wara was quite a challenge, as the concept and aesthetics were not the usual ones. They weren't looking for a commercial poster, but rather a piece of cinematic art, intended more for festivals than for movie theaters.
In the creative processes, an important part is to converse and understand the motivations that inspired them, and of course, to see the product or captures to grasp the aesthetics.
The directors of the film are #TitoCatacora and #OscarCatacora. I had already worked with them on the internationally acclaimed film #Wiñaypacha, which is available on the #Netflix platform.

Yana-Wara is the posthumous work of director #OscarCatacora, who unfortunately passed away during the filming of the movie. My utmost respect and admiration for his work.
