About the project
We were approached by the client to create a board game teaser for a campaign on Kickstarter that would immerse players into the emerging universe of their game.
The teaser serves as a prologue, introducing players to the universe's space explorer, the fearless Captain Jenny. Her unplanned adventure takes her to the enigmatic planet Enderes, where she encounters fascinating creatures known as the Doomlings,
who become her loyal companions throughout her yet-to-be-discovered escapades.
Our animation expertise brings the universe of Doomlings to life! Using a unique blend of static-rich illustrations and spatially arranged sets, infused with dynamic camera movements, we create a mesmerizing 2.5D experience that will leave you awe-inspired.
One of the animation's standout elements is a frame-by-frame animated scene, featuring a captivating lip-synced vlog performed by none other than the intrepid Captain Jenny herself. This scene brings real-time events to the forefront, providing

Meet Captain Jenny
One of our proudest accomplishments was creating the main character, Captain Jenny, from the ground up. We started with a detailed character description, crafting her personality and attributes. Through an array of concept sketches and mesmerizing color proposals, we sculpted a character who embodies the spirit of adventure.

The client's vision of expanding the universe of Doomlings was achieved beyond expectations. We've been flooded with inquiries, with viewers eagerly asking about the possibility of an animated series or movie based on this enthralling board game.
Creative Team
And what is the most important… The goal was to raise a minimum of $10,000 during the Kickstarter fundraising campaign, and particularly, the goal was achieved within the first 3 minutes of the campaign's launch! The final amount raised surpassed all expectations, reaching over $1,050,185.
