Baskin Robbins: Refresh to a Fan Favorite

In Malaysia, BR runs monthly campaigns based on events, new offerings, and/or collaborations. Thus, our team would produce the landing page design and other digital collaterals to match the theme of the month. This encompasses adapting offline materials to a digital landscape, meeting a variety of sizes and formats. Accompanying copy was also written for the website and push notifications.
A challenge encountered was the optimisation aspect of designing a landing page. Two versions - mobile and desktop, had to be balanced and user-friendly. The dense information also had to be formatted in a way where users are not immediately overloaded with information.
A challenge unique to the project is keeping the design engaging, this is because our designs had to be uploaded as static images. At the time of our working with BR, their website had limited capacity to include more delicate and moving elements.
Whilst this project came with a multitude of challenges, they were ultimately fun and exciting challenges. Being able to learn more about user-friendly design while working for a brand that our team are fans of was exhilarating.
