During a recent journey through my archived hard drives, I unexpectedly stumbled upon a hidden gem - a project brimming with untapped potential. Although not fully realized at the time, this endeavor left an indelible mark on my creative aspirations. Executed during my tenure at Raft Studio, it was a collaboration with "Lou Hadley," a visionary florist eager to redefine their brand identity.
The project's inception was accompanied by an open-ended brief, allowing me to delve into the realm of floral history. My research harked back to the opulent era of floristry, exploring its heyday. Amid this exploration, I encountered an article spotlighting the prominence of stone chiseling and engraving for signage during that era. This discovery ignited my artistic imagination, propelling me to craft a typeface exuding the handcrafted essence of a chisel's touch, characterized by sharp angles and distinctive contours.
Further investigation unearthed a fascinating historical context: the luxury of owning flowers was once a privilege reserved for the elite, transcending societal boundaries. Guided by this insight, my creative direction pivoted towards incorporating gold elements paired with a hint of pink, resulting in a contemporary fusion of opulence and modernity. Regrettably, the project encountered a pause, and the exact circumstances elude me.

Today, this rediscovered project stands as a testament to its embryonic stage of development. Yet, I am invigorated by the prospect of reviving this concept, nurturing it to its full potential. This portfolio entry pays homage to the project's initial conception, embodying the spirit of creativity and possibility that still resonates within me.
