my nft work
Bug larvae have always fascinated me.
Their ability to carry weights tens of times their own,
it's almost like a reflection of divine power.
With this thought in mind,
I decided to merge species of beetles with the gods of Greek mythology.
I started with Hades. Hades is known as the ruler of the underworld; he is the god of the dead. He's also referred to as the "Wealthy One". This name originates from the great treasury he accumulates from the coins brought by the dead to cross the Styx River. He is constantly engaged in dark and mundane tasks underground. Consequently, I associated him with the rhinoceros beetle.

Rhino beetles are among the strongest beetle species. They have shiny black shells and engage in collecting a mixture of fossils and dung.

In the NFT artwork I designed, I adorned the setting with gold, aiming to reference Hades' title of being "Wealthy" and his vast treasury.
Moving on to Poseidon, the god of the seas and earthquakes. His primary symbol is the trident, a three-pronged spear that, when struck to the ground, causes earthquakes. I identified Poseidon with the dung beetle.

Dung beetles are among the most powerful species. They have a tough shell and are a recently discovered species. Although I lack detailed information, their size and majesty impressed me.

In the NFT artwork, I fashioned an environment adorned with corals and precious pearls to highlight the beauty of the sea. To represent Poseidon's trident, I included a part resembling three hooks emerging from its body.
Lastly, I included Zeus, the most powerful and significant god in Greek mythology, known as the Father of Gods and Men. He's associated with the skies, lightning, and thunder. His philandering nature is also famous. Therefore, I linked him with the Goliath beetle.

Goliath beetles are considered the heaviest and most robust beetles. They are often found in palm trees and typically remain airborne. With their vibrant colors and prolific egg-laying, they create a unique spectacle.

In the NFT work, I covered the environment with golden eggs to allude to Zeus' promiscuity and prolific egg-laying. Furthermore, in line with his identity as the lightning god, I filled the design with lightning imagery.

Thank you for reviewing my work.
