In this editorial project, I created a 32-page design which presented the DADA Manifesto in a explorative and rebellious way. The DADA Manifesto is reflective of the style itself, in that it is punchy and outrageous and eccentric. Throughout the course of the manifesto the meaning of the words becomes more and more subjective and even shocking- and I wanted to portray this as accurately as I could. For the main theme of this project, I thought it would be suitable to compare the meaning of the manifesto to the rise of the digital age and later into artificial intelligence. 

The book follows the manifesto as it begins in a structured and neat fashion- but certain elements are redacted or emphasised above others. Slowly, it begins to unravel into chaos. The words themselves begin to rebel against their structure and jump out of the page, until they eventually lose all order. However, the words begin to take on an almost digital feel as the written word begins to elude to a glitched loading screen, or code on a page. The manifesto is re-created and re-ordered until it seems to literally, and figuratively, take on a life of it's own.
