A didergő király volt a kedvenc gyerekkori mesém. Emlékszem, anyukám rengeteg alkalommal olvasta fel nekem ezt a történetet lefekvés előtt. Most egy iskolai projekt keretén belül készítettem illusztárciókat ehhez a számomra nagyon kedves történethez.
The shivering king
This is a series of illustrations of my favorite fairy tale that my mother read to me when I was a child. I almost forgot about it until I got a new school assignment that brought me back to this story.
It is about a king who forgets how to love, who feels lonely and cold. Even though he orders his loggers to cut down all the forest on his land and confiscate all the rooftops to keep him warm, he still shivers. Poor people are sad, now they are without roofs. The poor animals of the forests flee. But one brave little girl, whose baby is soaking in water, decides to stand up to the king and make him realize that all he needs is love.
