This project is an outcome of a 4 week book design course, for Communication design students at National Institute of Design, Andhra Pradesh, guided by Navleen Kohli. The brief was to design a children's learning book for 8-10 year olds. It has been designed to introduce them to the world of dinosaurs & arouse their curiosity in this topic. I illustrated and designed the layouts in a way, that would make dinosaurs & mass extinction a less intimidating topic.
This book has been copyrighted by National Institute of Design, Andhra Pradesh.
This is a 12 page book with a front cover, six pages (including one double spread), back cover and other filler pages. It is compiled using Adobe Indesign, printed on 170 gsm art paper and bound using saddle stitch technique. All illustrations in the book are hand drawn to arouse children's curiosity on this subject.
