Una differente realtà (A different reality) is a multi-disciplinar project which has the purpose of illustrate and explain the reality concept, touching illusions and tricks through different concepts and disciplines like art, cinema and psychology, trying to represent a distorted version of the world.

 

The entire book was realised with two important characteristics, which are the elaborate graphic remembering the optical art effect, symbolizing the distort part of the world and something that tricks people.

The first important person who worked in the Art world to create amazing paintings and advertising was Renè Magritte, who was inspired by the founder of Surrealism, Mr. Andrè Breton.

The artist made a lot of works which have concept linked with the society's critique like La trahison des images and the advertising catalogs, as The key to dreams.

 

 

 

 

Renè Magritte, as all of the other Surrealist artists were inspired by the unconscious aspects, discovered and studied by Sigmund Freud, the psychoanalysis' father who worked as a neurologist in Vienna, expanding his field in human minds, dreams and unconscious, and he had an important role also in mass behavior, following Le Bon's theories.
