Gargoyle Sentry: Materials and Particles in Unreal

Over the course of a 10 week class, I exercised my ability to create material transitions and particles by making this gargoyle sentry. I pushed myself by making this effect interact with a player character. When the player makes noise, the gargoyle rumbles and shakes, but doesn't awaken. If the player runs into the gargoyle's line of sight, it will awaken and begin to burn the player up. If the player is able to run away in time, they will rematerialize, and the gargoyle will become sedentary again. However, if the player runs back into the gargoyle's line of sight, it will attack them again.
This could be used for a game that requires stealth, and/or a game that features old castles. The model is able to be swapped out, and the particles will change to fit the new model. I created the mesh and model of the gargoyle, as well as all material transitions and particles.  All other models and meshes are free from the Unreal marketplace.
