The Croatian Rainbow Families’ logo needed polishing and a fair dose of simplifying.
So, we designed a visual identity that can function in a modern environment and that would be better equipped for the digital landscape. We also wanted to create an identity that combines the uplifting vibes of the LGBTIQ community with the traditional elements of Croatian and Balkan culture.
Rainbow Families in Croatian goes by the name Dugine obitelji. So, we turned the rainbow into a D for the domestic version of the name. And for the English version we turned the rainbow into a C. And after that, the branding just took off by itself.
