  • Greasemonkey is an up and coming design collective based in Sydney. In designing an identity and branding system for it, I looked at creating a visual contrast between strong typography and more playful elements including a bold fusion of bright paper marbling created from oil paints and humour in the copy; to present the brand as serious about design, but not about itself. Greasemonkey advocates for a focus on excellent form and function, and well considered outcomes that are tangible, crafted and well cared for, just as an skilled artisan would.
