The Nucleus of Experimentation in Music of the Recreational and Cultural Association of Musicians (N.E.M da ARCM), in partnership with the Zer0 Museum presented the First Cycle of Exploratory Music in the Algarve.

The first concert of the cycle took place at Clube Farense at 21:30 on Saturday, May 13th. The improvised music by Niseichi, Trinchax and Vasco Fortes was conducted by a visual performance that has a slide projector as its central device.

The slides were composed with digital images being shot manually like an instrument too, maneuvered by the plastic artist José Jesus, creating a unique synesthetic experience.

The second concert of the cycle took place at Museo Municipal de Faro. 

Each presentation was adapted to the space in which it takes place, promoting the interaction between music and the environment.

The exploratory music cycle will continue with one more performance in  September. 

The objective of this collaboration between the two institutions is to reach new audiences, expanding the cultural offer of the city of Faro and the Algarve in general.
