Ah-Jin Woo is an artist who captures and records unique and beautiful moments of everyday life through photography. Her visual journey combines her experiences of living in Mexico and South Korea, which served as a guide for my Art Nouveau-inspired design, as the representation of the Mexican national flower, Dahlia.

This photograph collection is produced in 2 versions: the ORIGINAL version featuring the artist's photographs as they are, and the BLACK AND GRADIENT version with the black and gradient versions of her photographs.
Just like in our life, in which another beautiful landscape reappears as we walk, she has walked her own path despite various trials in her life. The artist's cherished symbol, 'Mary's Immaculate Heart,' used as a significant design motif in this book represents the nature of our life. So, I aimed to express this duality of our life through the rough metallic material to make its twinkle when exposed to light in the covers of BLACK AND GRADIENT version.
In this book, the photographs are intentionally grouped and arranged by themes rather than in chronological order. So, the titles of the photographs were placed in the layout as independent design elements.
