3 Trees Where 6 Bikes Meet
Entry for Mikser Festival 2014 Bike Stand Competition
The notion of a "bike stand" is translated and reinterpreted as a meeting point/oasis/place of peace associated with a certain space (a segment of natural). This is achieved through the simplicity of form and structural relations, pureness and readability of such associated space and an ambience that holds the value of basic, natural (both as related to nature and as appropriate).
“Stop and smell the roses”, as a mantra of the necessary in 21st-century city life actually becomes the base/canvas for the activity of parking the bicycle, and transforms into “Park your bike and smell the roses”, so that it isn’t subconsciously recognized as wasted time.
