In teams, we were instructed to create 10 of an item from a list to learn about making for production. Our team chose a doorstop/door wedge as our item to produce.
For my portion of the collection of necklaces, I was inspired by trends in jewelry that take very ordinary objects and turn them into prized possesions through jewelry.

Each necklace is hand crafted, down to the length of the chain and all major components.
The door wedges/pendants are either made from curly maple or oak. They are hand painted with milk paint and finished with tung oil.
