SOLUTION:
Creating an identity for a renowned artist requires more than just an adoption of his style. The grid from Escher’s famous lithograph “Print Gallery” is extracted and used to derive the identity for the exhibition. Targeting mainly art enthusiasts, the supporting media also reaches out to students and teachers, projecting the exhibit as a fun and educational event.

SOLUTION:
The title “white Space” is conceived keeping in mind the importance of white space in creating effective design and typographic solutions. Printed in two colors, black remaining constant and the second color changing with each issue.
The poster is designed using simple type and basic colors to create visual interest.

A pure typographic solution is adopted to further strengthen the principle of Nanotechnology. The characters are added and rearranged to form the hierarchy within the book. The subject of the book is transformed into the title of the book and through further steps into the immediate topic on a particular page.

SOLUTION:
With a purpose of its own, each catalog is shot and designed in a specific manner. Corporate Sales Catalog is theme oriented. Colt catalog emphasizes the detailing and the washes. Cherokee highlights the range depth and width. Whereas, Ruggers catalog provides complete detailed information of a particular style, be it fabric, size, wash, count and construction.

Ramp up the look and feel of Megamart - a discount store, into a department store.

SOLUTION:
To break away from their old discounted look, the large format Megamart stores are transformed with use of grand entrances, high ceilings, bold messages and minimalist graphic treatment. Big and bold - the brand color is used to its advantage to draw in customers. These stores are present in cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Thane.

Revamp the signages - indoor and outdoor. Everything looks too white!

SOLUTION:
Reverse branding on black is suggested and implemented. The brand colors stand out better and are able to attract customers more. In-store signages are color coded and made more flexible and easy to change as required.

Category areas are planned, supporting retail graphics are designed, appropriate imagery is selected and in-store communication is developed to give a complete shop-in-shop look and feel.

The shopping festival needs to be vibrant and should be celebrated.

SOLUTION:
The HABBA in vernacular language is a local fair targeting the immediate vicinity (in this case Whitefield, where the mall is located). Colored triangle flags, fireworks and sunbursts are used to lighten up the mood and create a celebratory feel.

BRIEF:
Brand and design collateral for a skin care product with Indian roots and marketed in the US.

SOLUTION:
Javani - Hindi for “eternal youth” is targeted mainly towards spas and skincare specialists. The identity is a promise to offer rejuvenation and replenishment to one’s skin. With a calm waveform in the back, the logotype is a reminiscent of the Hindi script. The waterdrop image is used consistently to emphasize the feeling of replenishment.

Create an identity for a home owned business dealing in concrete landscape edging and garden curbs.

SOLUTION:
Alternative Edge was looking for an identity that will make them stand out from its competitors. A cross sectional diagram of a curb is incorporated in the logo giving it an edgy and contemporary look. The grass green and the concrete grey represent their expertise in handling diverse tasks.
