Matrioska Lamp is the result of representing a code of culture in a product. This lamp is inspired by the famous Russian dolls. The project proposed by the designer, Christophe Mathieu, had a goal to introduce a lamp in a famous design company’s catalogue. In this case I chose MOOOI because I feel very identified with its ideology of design.
The lamp in its base comes in different materials and colors such as brass, rubber, textile, or just in one color. It has two different positions: a “ closed” one that shows just one thin line of light, and the second one which shows more an internal diffusive egg giving more luminosity.
