69' Ford Mustang Widebody Project

69' Ford Mustang Widebody Project
This render was produced with Cycles rendering
Reasons for the animation to be in a vertical format is to appeal to the median of the modern audience since TikTok is very popular and reels is a popular media format too.

Ensured the cuts weren't too long, kept it snappy,  energic music in the background also non stop movements with cameras to keep the momentum going otherwise the view will lose interest and move onto the next post on their feed.
Original Car Model
The Original 3D Model of the Ford Mustang was produced by Sven Giera |

Modified Variant of the Mustang Car Model
Several modifications were implemented to the original Mustang, these modifications include widening the bodywork on the wheel base, adding a custom rear bumper, custom rear diffuser and alternated the materials on some of the body work. Reworked the grill to remove the original lights and to modernize the face of the Mustang to appeal to the modern designs of the automotive industry. Kept some characteristics of the original Mustang to keep its identity.

The wheels were changed for a modernized look, the wheels are the BBS RS16 Tuner Car Wheels from Sketchfab, Martin Trafas . Wasn't happy with the tyre that came with the wheel since it looked very flat and unappealing. Swapped the out the tyre with a better quality model,  swapped it with the Pirelli P Zero Corsa R tyre modelled by Pierre-Louis Baril.

Added a custom side exhaust replacing the original rear exhaust to avoid the metal from scraping the ground and to give it a more menacing look.

Parking Garage Scene
The Parking Garage scene was provided by Thomas | Instagram: angry_jacked_renders. Decided to utilise this environment for the animation sequences, the animation sequence was inspired from different car videos from YouTube that are located in parking garage areas and from the Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift movie.
Tunnel Sequence Development
First Version of the tunnel environment scene
Even though I was happy with what I produced with the tunnel environment, I did not want to do too much since that would significantly slow down render times, I felt there something in this scene was it look a bit too bland and boring.
Second version of the tunnel environment scene (final)
To resolve this issue I had with the scene to improve the surrealism of this scene was to add some more details to the scene. I reflected to the refences of tunnels that are from New York underground to guide me to stay accurate with realism while creating the tunnel. Adding a concrete block with a hand rail, some exit signs and doors enables realism. Feels more natural if I may add.

Sometimes the little details matter.
Some render shots that I took during the development of the animation...
