The Ruins of Cadyanda

Cadyanda is an ancient city located in southwestern Turkey, in the Mugla Province. It is situated in the hills of the Taurus Mountains, approximately 25 kilometers northwest of the popular tourist destination, Fethiye. The city was originally established by the Lycians, an ancient civilization of the region.
The theater of Cadyanda is one of its most impressive features. Carved into the hillside, it offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. The stadium, which could accommodate around 3,000 spectators, is another notable structure that reflects the city's importance in hosting athletic and entertainment events.
The site is not as well-known as some other ancient sites in Turkey, it tends to be less crowded, offering a peaceful and immersive experience for history enthusiasts and travelers interested in archaeological sites.
