EL HUACAL
El Huacal is the project of an art book dedicated to Mexican fruits, honoring Mexico’s ever present relationship with food, nature, community, and color.
Covering everything related to fruits: from informational facts to traditional recipes, along with
botanical illustrations; El Huacal (named after the wooden boxes used to store and carry fruit traditionally used in Mexico) seeks to offer a visual and cultural experience that celebrates Mexican culture and explores the ties it has to fruit, in both its imagery and uses.
