‘Silver basket’ is my personal art project. The main technique used is papercutting. I have also been adding paper weaving to my papercuts for a while now. New aspect for this particular work was to try out paper weaving on bigger scale: 30 by 42 centimetres.
I began experimenting with lamination coat on top of my papercuts as well.

The first version of ‘Silver basket’ was actually done in green. However, green one was damaged and ripped by the machine during the process of laminating.

This work being destroyed made me quite upset. But I decided to make another one. This time in silver colour.
The paper itself is grey, but has additional metallic pearl-like shimmer to it. I believe it pairs well with glossy silver weave.
