Sociological research on the migration of the Senegalese community in Italy. I have dealt with this phenomenon conducting a survey on the territory, which was conducted through interviews biographic on subjective experience of individuals chosen as informants. The core of the research is the development and elaboration of four interviews with Senegalese immigrants.

It is no longer possible to define migration as a phenomenon of short duration , as well as Italy is no longer just a transit country: today we are faced to more permanent settlements, in mixed marriages and the inclusion of many children, the children of immigrants in Italian schools. These factors highlight a change in the project and the migratory path of many immigrants. NANGA DEF means the joy and the availability of the Senegalese people , not only means " how are you? " but above all it is a warmth and a saying among civilized people ... we should take the best from these people and not judge them.
