Hard maple stool designed for Muji's product line utilizing CNC technology. The form was inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, and is a response to how we interpreted Muji's aesthetic and design ideology with the opportunity to design a furniture piece within this framework that would be shaped with CNC technology. The form was modeled through Solidworks and the toolpaths were done with Mastercam for Solidworks. Process photos will be added.
