MORSHYN
This is a process of gradual rethinking of the hotel building, where we started with the classics — the Standard room.
We would like all of us to get a little more than we expect. We redesigned the Standard, slightly increasing the coffee area. We developed the atmosphere with textures: a heterogeneous tactile wall covering, textiles + metal on the headboard, stainless steel, and wood. We sewed a TV into the furniture frame and added shelves for glasses — now you feel deeply and calmly in Standard.
The irregular geometry of the roofs is the signature feature of the hotel building in Morshyn. This "limitation" became a kind of challenge, so we (and the team of kitchen technologists) worked hard to create such a concept of geometric reorganization of spaces.
Dynamic shapes complemented the idea of multifunctionality: it is a dining room and a conference room, a lounge and a meeting place at the same time. We added some contrasting purple lighting to the beige and stone location, and to balance the sharp corners of the ceiling, we rounded some of the walls.
