MINI 1275 GT // Skateboarding

The girl was a vision in yellow. Her vintage Mini 1275 GT was a thing of beauty, and she knew it. She wore Vans on her feet and a smile on her face as she skateboarded around the car park.

I watched her from the shadows, nursing my whiskey and wondering what it would be like to be that carefree. She was like a ray of sunshine in this dark and dingy place.

She skated around the Mini like it was her own personal playground. She did tricks that I had never seen before, and she did them with ease. She was like a dancer on wheels.

I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was so full of life. I wanted to be near her, to feel her energy.

And then she looked up and saw me. She smiled and waved me over, and I felt something warm inside me.

We talked for hours, about everything and nothing. We drank whiskey and laughed and watched the sun set over the city.

And when it was time to go, she climbed onto the roof of the Mini and did a backflip off of it. I watched her soar through the air, and I knew that I had found something worth holding onto.

It wasn't much, but it was enough.
