Minichay

Minichay is a book of verses in Quechua, written by Josefina Navarro, which explores the traditional Andean art of weaving through language. This project has been developed during the Professional Illustration Postgraduate Program at FADU, University of Buenos Aires.
The illustrations in the book were created manually, using powdered pastel pigments that were applied by hand using stencils.

This project aims to raise awareness and appreciation for the Quechua language, which is an essential part of Andean culture and it will be soon be published by Amauta Yaguar.
