This years pride project is called ‘Love is Love : Love is in every sky’ is to celebrate the whole of June which is Pride month and celebrated on different days in different countries and cities.

The background for these pride marches are the Stonewall riots that took place in 1969 in the USA,  which changed the gay rights for a lot of people in America and other countries for the better, although they are often still stigmatised and harassed, so these pride marches are absolutely still necessary. Furthermore in some other parts of the world, we shouldn’t forget either being gay can be punishable by prison or even death. This needs to change and that is why we need to keep fighting for equality for all LGBQT+ rights.

Pride is a celebration of diversity and inclusiveness in love, it is about acceptance and celebrating the work of LGBQT+ people and education as well as the history.
The rainbow flag has come to represent LGBQT+ love as the different colours represent the different forms of love in all of its different shades and how beautiful that is.
Pride is about being proud of who you are and not having to hide it any longer. 
Love should be for everyone; ‘Love is Love’.

Love is the most powerful energy we can experience:
human, earthly, universal it has no boundaries no limits.
In a world where humanity seems to be lost in a self destructive madness we have only one chance of surviving: learning to love again.
Now more then ever we need to become more aware of how deeply human beings are entangled with each other and with their environment.
This truth is so simple and yet so difficult to achieve.
And yet we are at the crucial turning point in history where we can no longer remove this reality.
Only love can save us and each of us can express this endless power in one's own way, no matter sex, race, status or provenience.
