Sketching & Thumbnailing
First, I started with sketching the basement, I tried to build a criteria and style so I can build the rest on it. Counting how many signages in each floor was really important to me. As well as knowing how many emergency tools are there.

The ground building has many entrances and activities. You can see on the left that we have a giant theater and also there is an outdoor lounge which is called the bonsai garden. Also, the restaurant (Olive Fat)
AUK G-Building Basement 1 Zoning Map
AUK G-building was built during Covid-19 in 2019-2021. The building has 6 main floors. This map is a structure and guide for the B1 (Basement) floor. Which you will find there many classrooms and other entertainment areas. Most of the classes there are for Music and Multimedia. I decided to start with this building first since it was the hard one. The structure of it needed a lot of work. I made Icon systems so I can refer to the services/fundamentals such as electricity box, fire extinguisher, wheelchair ramp etc.. Also, I choose each color to refer of the room activity.

That is a zoning map for the first floor. There are not so many rooms in this floor so when we go to the process stage and the photomontage you will see that I will only do a mockup for the stairs and the exhibition area.

The second building is my favorite. It has many rooms and my favorite one is the Graphic Design Lounge of course. We will see what will happen in the photomontage phase. I might add few type of signages.

Third floor is mostly for offices. there are computer laboratories but most of it is for meetings, offices, etc..
Typography & Color Theory
Why i chose the color and typeface? What is the idea behind it?
When I went to the color theory stage. I explored and searched about the color psychology and decided to go with a split complementary color harmony. I chose to go with this colors to give a sense of joy, creativity, knowledge, attention. all of them are pantones color system. I chose to go with Dubai Font since it is a well-known bilingual typeface. It is clear, bold, modern sans serif and straight forward. I was careful to choose a font that has legibility and readability.

This part was my favorite because I was using all my creativity power and I started to sketch whatever in my head.
Icons Grid System
Those are some of the examples of the icons grid system. each icon has its own system and the number or columns.
Icon System
Those are my icons. I decided to go with something Bold, Clean, Straight Forward. I was careful to make them connected to each other in the sense of size/scale and proportions. As well as the concept.
