I utilised both Premiere Pro, Audition & After Effects to create the video. Premiere Pro was used to edit footage taken from my visits to the gallery, Audition was used to make adjustments to the audio and After Effects was used to create Text and Title sequences.

The video begins with an introduction to the various works of Dave, giving viewers a glimpse of his paintings. The bulk of the video consists of interviews with Dave. I asked a variety of different questions but mainly about his experience working as a painter, his inspirations and influences and his work process. This gives viewers further insight on the nature of Dave and artists alike. Intermixed in the interview section are various previews of Dave's other works, that way viewers wouldn't feel board and see just Dave all the time.

The audio was adjusted using Adobe Audition. The goal was to remove as much pop, echo and other unnecessary sounds from the video as possible, reducing any audio discomfort for listeners. It was a challenging process, however, I managed to edit the audio to a suitable listening level.

Whilst the overall production of the video went smoothly, if there's one area that I could pick that I could do better it would be with the interview audio. By the time of recording the interview, my Lavalier microphone didn't arrive on time, hence, I had to record the interview without it. 

Editing the echo and pops out of the audio file proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated and it took a while for me to edit the audio to a adequate levels. The audio aspect taught me not just new valuable editing skills, but also that I must expand my knowledge on audio editing for future video projects. It has also taught me to be much more prepared for things, especially with equipment. But, overall, I'd say my first internship video was a great success.
