The Road to Vimy and Beyond, 1914–1918
Located in the Cavalier Building of Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, the Army Museum has fascinated and inspired thousands visitors with an extensive collection of Haligonian, Nova Scotian, and Canadian militaria.
In 2014 the Museum is featuring a brand new exhibit marking the First World War Centennial. This exhibit commemorates the service and sacrifice of the soldiers in the First World War, and in particular, highlights the stories of the soldiers from Nova Scotia. The central piece of this highly moving exhibition is a powerful re-creation of the Vimy Memorial.
