"Mind over Matter"
This project expresses how the human mind has an incredible amount of emotions and feelings inside and with its surroundings. Mind over matter projects the importance of human emotions and the surreal effect they bring to people. In the photoshopped pictures I attempted to create a world of feeling and twisted reality mixed with all the emotions humans experience. The surreal features in the pictures like crying oceans, or tearing up newspaper pieces emphasize the surreal feel of every human emotion.
"BROKEN"
This photoshopped image represents silence, feeling broken and helpless. The cropped out piece of the face has a tear and the emphasis on cropping out that piece is to show the hurt and pain of not being able to express what you truly want as you can also see the silence in the hand over the mouth.
"INNOCENCE"
This image represents innocence. the flowers behind the child head demonstrate brightness and kindness. The child is laughing to project a sign of joy and innocent laughter. And finally, I chose a child for this photoshop to represent the most pure form of a human being there is, innocent, naive, and overall happy.
"COMPASSION"
The photoshop in this image aimed to express love, longing, and the feeling of missing a part of you that was lost. The children demonstrate the sibling love close to the heart and home and the sunset signifies the heavens and everything special in the world and beautiful.
