I decided to play on the name ‘Blacks’ and create an entirely black and white brand with a clean, modern look, using blackboard textures throughout the branding. The logo incorporates black lines used in the original logo.

MENU
The menu idea for Blacks plays around the idea of a blackboard, with the back of the menu made with blackboard paper. Customers are encouraged to use the menu to help decide on their order, write comments or suggestions and play games. It can be written on in chalk and rubbed off easily, ready for the next customer. I designed a chalk holder and rubber to come with the menu on the table.
