Smoke has been a recurring pattern in my works.
To me, smoking is a form of expression. Of how people hold their cigarettes, either with their thumb or between their index and middle finger. The way they inhale slowly and then release the tension. It tells a story while saying nothing at all.
Deep down I want to be like smoke. Carefree, formless, transient.
