In this project, I embarked on a journey to create compelling personas that would serve as mascots for the fashion brand Krate. Meet Ted and his family - a set of lovable characters that would resonate with the Indian millennial audience. Our aim was to design personas that embodied the essence of the modern Indian millennial, someone who seeks convenience and variety in their clothing choices.
User Research: To begin, I conducted in-depth research and interviews with the target audience to understand their preferences, pain points, and aspirations. This user-centered approach allowed us to empathize with the potential customers and create personas that truly reflected their needs.
Ted, the central character, symbolizes the core values of our target audience. He embodies the spirit of ease and adaptability when it comes to fashion choices, traits that are highly relatable to the Indian millennial's lifestyle.
In addition to Ted, I designed his family members - his stylish dad, fashion-forward mom, and trendsetting sister. Each of these characters complemented Ted's persona, forming a cohesive unit that represented various aspects of the target audience's fashion preferences.
In the design process, we prioritized capturing vibrant and authentic personas that would serve as ideal ambassadors for Krate's brand identity. By featuring Ted and his family in social media promotions and marketing materials, we aimed to emotionally connect with potential customers and inspire them to embrace Krate's subscription model. Their relatable fashion choices effectively conveyed the message of a hassle-free and peace-filled fashion experience, evoking emotions and motivating the audience to become part of the Krate community. Through thorough research and empathy-driven persona creation, Ted and his family became powerful symbols of the modern Indian millennial, encouraging users to subscribe to Krate's offerings and discover fashion in a whole new way.
