Royal stag barrel select launched a Limited edition pack with Jim sarbh. We created this film to showcase the design philosophy used to create this pack. How different facets from Jim's life are taken in consideration to create this pack. This film can be viewed once you scan the QR code on the LEP.

We got an interesting brief on ROYAL STAG BARREL SELLECT to design a LIMITED EDITION PACK. Since RSBS is all about premium whiskey where the people orienting there interests towards this brand associate because of its premium imagery. Its stance from the general whiskey category is slightly up beat and different..
LARGE SHORT FILMS is one of such property which the brand has lived up to and owned.
So we needed some one who could really do justice to this brand, it’s imagery, it's tonality and the over all vibe of the design
so that the pack also gets noticed.
To uplift their scale and tonality we got in touch with Jim Sarbh. As he easily establishes himself from not a regular film guy. The way his career graph is … it resonated well with RSBS’s strategy. The range of our design and this campaign suddenly became vibrant.
“So we designed the LEP after continued discussions with Jim Sarbh and the elements which we chose to put on LEP has a meaning which relates and reflects his life story.
We described his life style and personality through some buckets
1: He believes his life and acting skills are like water he can take any shape and mould his character.
So we designed the water ripple design pattern
2: BREAKING STEREOTYPES /ACCLAIMED/MULTI FACETED( Typography design) to denote his personality.
3: Jim inside Jim: Since he feels his spirit has many attributes and shades, one character indulges into another newer character
so we designed the layered face inside face design.

6: Quote to further make a Statement about his ideologies "I have no stand I am involuntary"
We hired a collage artist Akshay Mahadik and guided him in each step for the design language and placement of each element strategically. Post the collage creation we designed the LEP with our design sensibilities keeping in mind all the key element so that the LEP has a unique and vibrant look and through on shelves.
It took us 3 months to finalise the design.
