Glitch Spectacular

Clearly is an eyewear online retailer under EssilorLuxottica Canada, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. They're all about their mission to eliminate poor vision, but also specialized in selling contact lenses, eyeglasses, and sunglasses. Notably, they are a major player in the North American online contact lens market and once the world's largest seller of prescription eyeglasses online, being also present in Australia and New Zealand.

The Black Friday period, which is crucial for e-commerce brands like Clearly, presented an excellent opportunity to create visually striking and memorable content. Departing from the traditional all-black visuals associated with the sale, this design aimed to stand out by incorporating the most Black Friday associated vibrant colours like pink and purple and leverage a glitch art style effect with its visually striking flaws and imperfections to add a captivating twist to the overall theme.

Because glitch graphics don't necessarily have to be excessively chaotic or distorted, I took a more subtle approach to capture the essence of the style to make things visually appealing but not messy. The overall look came together seamlessly and still have that cool glitch vibe going on, supported by the beautiful models and product photos we took in the photoshoot.
