Creating a Hard Surface Model with Modeler

Substance 3D Stager
Working on a Hard Surface Model

Hard surface modeling was something I always found challenging a bit. When I tried Modeler for the first time to create something like this, I was positively surprised how easily and fast it went. I created this model using the Clay tool, the Erase and Stamp tool in Modeler. After I exported the model I textured it with Substance 3D Painter and at the end I built and rendered the scene with Substance 3D Stager. The materials I used are from Substance 3D Assets.

Final render
The model was created with Modeler using the Clay, Erase and Stamp tools
The model was textured with Substance 3D Painter, and the textured model was directly sent to Stager for rendering.
After the model was duplicated a few times, the lights were set up and rendered.
One of the final renders. It's fun to try different color palettes! :)
