This issue's theme is multilingualism, inspired by Wu Mingyi's "The Stolen Bicycle." "I don't know when it started, but whenever I meet people from different language groups, I always ask them to pronounce 'bicycle' for me: Bike, vélo, cykel, 자전거, велосипед, jizdní kolo, साइकलिंग... So even though I only speak two languages, I understand thirty-six ways to say 'bicycle.' I am a multilingual speaker of bicycles."
Multilingualism represents Taiwan's diverse cultural context and each person's personal reasons, constructing their unique multilingual world.
