Etnología urbana expo
Marco Di Grande - digital artist
Etnología urbana" is an artistic project by Marco Di Grande that focuses on the research and understanding of the cultural, social, and anthropological dynamics of urban environments. It delves into the analysis of cultural diversity, everyday practices, and social interactions from a personal and emotional perspective.
It explores how urban life influences cultural identity, community formation, relationships, social inequalities, and practices of resistance in urban environments. In addition, Urban Ethnology also aims to comprehend how urban spaces and physical infrastructures shape social interactions and the construction of cultural meanings.

I have been fortunate enough to accompany him in the graphic part of his art exposition :)

The visit cards used for Marco Di Grande's exhibition "Etnologia Urbana" were specially created with sustainability in mind. For this reason, the printing tests were the primary material for their production. This approach aimed to take advantage of existing materials instead of generating additional waste; and turned the visit cards into a renewed purpose, to be small works of art.
Each card crafted using pieces of these printing tests, resulting in a unique appearance and a visual connection to the creative process.
This methodology of using recycled materials extends beyond the cards; and made used in the design of other promotional elements for the exhibition.
To add value, we created some labels.
The design is a pattern this shows pieces of the artworks exhibited that day.
This approach allowed us to extend the artistic experience beyond the physical exhibition space, creating a sense of continuity and connection between the promotional materials and the actual artworks.
