Project Brief
This logo was designed for the first day of the daily logo challenges of Harris Roberts. On this day, we have to create a logo for one of the four introduced hypothetical brands active in the field of rocketships. We chose Axis among them, and after checking the title and brand services, we evaluated the logos of existing companies and designers participating in the first-day challenge and then started the design process.
"Axis" is the rotation axis of the planets around themselves, and the word "Rocketship" refers to spacecraft propelled by rockets. Examinations showed that most existing companies had used symbols related to space and spacecraft and the "San serif" font in their logos. Also, blue and black colors were used more than other colors.
Design Concept
As you know, blue conveys a sense of trust and confidence to the audience, so we chose blue as the prominent color of the brand for this project. The designed logo abstractly depicts a rocket in such a way that light blue, dark blue, and red are symbols of the rocket, the sky outside the atmosphere, and the flame of the rocket, respectively. In addition, the logo indirectly displays the first letter of the brand name, i.e., A.
Color variation
One of the applications of the Sans serif font is in companies focused on technology. This font conveys a sense of modernity and trusts to the audience. As a result, we designed a Sans serif font in consistency with the brand's logo mark, where the lines drawing the letters have soft curves. This project was created by Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
